Zephyra and Ingrid: Wintry Wonder by JulietsPuppY Zephyra and Ingrid: Wintry Wonder by JulietsPuppY
Goes perfectly with this song: [link]

Ingrid was being her jovial, spirited self again, she was chatting to her taller friend, who was obviously, paying a little less attention to her has usual. 'So Zeph, where do you think we spiritual beings should do this cold blustery weather?'
'I dunno' Zephyra replied simply 'This is the season for humans to settle and realize one of the most sacred happening in the physical world. Though, even this is the time of peace, joy, and happiness, a lot of unexpected things happen.' Ingrid nodded quietly, her eyes suddenly shifted above. A smile formed on her cute little face. 'Oh look Zeph! Snowflakes!' The ebony-haired lady turned around and watched intricately designed ice crystals gently graced down upon them. The look and wonder on Ingrid's face was priceless. 'Guess this year's winter won't be so awful, huh Zeph?' she giggled.

'Yes.' Zeph retorted, 'Just the time to compress ice crystals to a rotund shape and serve as artillery for the oncoming ravages of war'

Ingrid's eyes widened when she heard the word 'war'. 'War? What are you talking abou-'SMASH! As Ingrid turned her head to reply, a snowball squarely hit her on the face.

'So it begins.'

Merry Christmas to Everyone! And Happy Hanukkah to you Jewish folks out there! I made this a long time ago. This is for ~meicchaaan as part our our card-exchanging agreement. I hope she didn't forget that. :)

You were talking about wanting feedback on your work, I love the way all your drawings have had really powerful characters with really powerful eyes. The eyes are always the hardest part for me! But you've got it spot on and they really add to the way the character's positioned and the mood, like the side view one with the girl looking towards the right?

Love the graphite style as well, it feels very serious which is maybe something you like about it? Don't be afraid to use colors tho! Like with this one!!

Really? That's odd, my eldest sister thinks I'm awful at drawing eyes because I never get the sizes correctly balanced. I observed how she draws eyes, and how I draw mine, and realized she's right. Mostly because I draw the eyes almost too cartoonishly. I try to avoid drawing anime-esque eyes, but no avail. Thank you for the feedback, dear. :)

Ah, yes, the ones in pencil. I like making the ones in graphite because, mostly that's the only thing in my fingers during class. I also try experimenting on shades, light to dark. I also love the solemnity of the pieces in graphite. How they give out a serious, brooding atmosphere. :)

Although,on this particular colored piece, you see the blue background? I colored it with oil pastels smudged it all over, then I drew over snowflakes. XD Again, thank you for feedbacking my work.

Thank you so much, though, I made Ingrid's eyes too big.
